Overview
Kimball Hill Homes is now completing the wind-down of operations that we announced on December 2, 2008. On March 12, 2009, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, approved a chapter 11 Plan. The Plan became effective on March 24, 2009. In accordance with the Plan, all assets of Kimball Hill Homes have been transferred to two trusts, which are being administered by U.S. Bank. The information on this site has been established to provide guidance on where to obtain additional information relating to this final stage of the wind-down of Kimball Hill Homes.

Home Sales
All of our home construction has been completed and we no longer have any homes available for sale.

Warranty
For homes which closed before April 23, 2008, warranty requests can no longer be serviced by the company.

For homes which closed on or after April 23, 2008 and before December 22, 2008 the remainder of the home warranty will be serviced by Residential Warranty Corporation, LLC. / Home of Texas. Please call (717) 561-4480 ext. 2131.
